BIFM Announce Linda Hausmanis as Acting Chief Exec

The British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM) Board has announced a change to the leadership team.

In a statement, Julie Kortens, BIFM Chairman, stated: “After careful consideration, the BIFM Board and Ray Perry have mutually decided that he will step down from his role as CEO with immediate effect. The Board, keen to ensure continuity, has appointed Linda Hausmanis, BIFM’s Director of Professional Development, as Acting Chief Executive.

“The Board is confident in Linda’s ability to lead the organisation while we take the necessary time to recruit and appoint a permanent CEO.

“We wish Ray all the best in his future endeavours and we, the Board, and the BIFM team look forward to continuing our work to support the membership and the wider facilities management profession.”

Linda Hausmanis has been instrumental in BIFM’s development and fundamental in putting in place the infrastructure to professionalise facilities management over the past decade;  having been the force behind the BIFM Qualifications and the FM Professional Standards.
