Clugston Group to exhibit at RWM
Clugston, the privately-owned Group, which has expertise in construction, property, logistics and facilities management, will take the opportunity to showcase the entire Group’s capabilities in the recycling and waste management sectors on stand E91, Hall 5 at Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) Exhibition 2018, being held in the NEC Birmingham on September 12-13.
The Group, which can trace its long association with the industry back to company’s origins in 1937, when it set up an operation to recycle waste slag from the North Lincolnshire and Steel Industries, has a strong track record of providing building and civil engineering services to the waste recovery and energy sector.
In more recent years, the company has established a market leading position in the Energy from Waste (EfW) sector, working closely with French process specialists CNIM to deliver a large number of major EfW projects across the UK.
Clugston’s Distribution division also has a rich history in the sector, having started operations by transporting vast quantities of slag and aggregates generated by iron and steel plants in North Lincolnshire during the Great Depression.
Visitors to Clugston’s stand will have the opportunity to find out about the wide-ranging services provided by the Group’s Construction, Logistics and Facilities Management divisions, including the bespoke solutions for the recycling and waste management industry - which are offered as either stand-alone services or as an integrated package.
Clugston chief executive Bob Vickers said: “We are very excited to be showcasing the Group’s broader capabilities at this year’s RWM Exhibition. As a business, Clugston has a long and successful history of providing logistics, construction and facilities management services to major organisations in the energy, waste, water and recycling sectors, dating back to when we were established in 1937, and we feel the show offers the ideal opportunity to present our wider services to customers.
