FACILITIES MANAGER

Due to the continued growth of our business we are currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to lead, manage and develop the Facilities Team to achieve and maintain high performance in health, safety and environmental systems and SLG premises, plant and machinery.  Key tasks include;
• The development and implementation of the Facilities Management Strategy
• Promoting a culture of Facilities excellence and best practice
• Providing continuously safe, comfortable efficient and well-presented facilities at SLG’s UK sites

The successful candidate will ideally be educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline and hold an EHS management qualification along with membership of relevant bodies i.e. BIFM. An engineering background with an electrical emphasis will be advantageous. The candidate will also have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Facilities Management role together with proven experience of leadership and line management and a detailed understanding of and adherence to legal frameworks and contract law. An excellent knowledge of Facilities Management systems and business process mapping, together with strong negotiation, communication, team working, project management and IT skills is also required.
