Mitie fuels springfields safety

Mitie has been awarded a security contract with Springfields Fuels Ltd, which was the first plant in the world to produce fuel for a commercial power station. The contract sees Mitie’s total security management business providing a team of security operatives who work closely with the local emergency services to provide a safe, secure nuclear environment.

Mitie’s total security management business is the sector leader in critical security environments and has demonstrated its expertise in greenfield, specialist recruitment and mobilisation.

Mitie will work closely with Springfields Fuels’ management team to implement sector-specific technologies and innovation to enhance the security delivery based on best practice from across its related portfolio.
