MITIE SECURES DIGITAL CONTRACT WITH LAW FIRM

Mitie’s Document Management business has won a five-year contract with law firm Addleshaw Goddard, covering some of the client’s major sites including London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Scotland.

The facilities management specialists will be digitising all aspects of the firm’s document management services, including reprographics, mailroom and records management.

The contract will create a seamless digital and physical document management environment, preparing Addleshaw Goddard for the transition into the digital world. This involves a Digitisation Roadmap, which will help the client reduce reliance on paper.

Mitie will be utilising its latest technology to progress a number of initiatives, such as a digital mailroom, hybrid mail and records and archive scanning. This will underpin the firm’s ability to transform unstructured data, such as hard copy documents, to business intelligence.

Through integrating the four essential elements of people, technology, customer and process under one contract, the client’s employees will also be able to more effectively access and manage their information to improve efficiency.

Paula Bruton, Head of Secretarial and Office Services at Addleshaw Goddard, said: "Addleshaw Goddard conducted a very detailed and competitive tender involving a number of specialists from the document management sector. Throughout the tender Mitie took the time to really understand our needs and demonstrated how they could help us to enhance our services through improved process and technology.  We look forward to working with them as we develop our digitisation roadmap.”
