TIVOLI LANDS CONTRACT WITH GUINNESS PARTNERSHIP

Tivoli has started operations as the new grounds maintenance service provider for the Guinness Partnership, covering the South West region.

The five-year deal is estimated to be worth £1m and sees Tivoli completing gardening and maintenance of green areas, litter removal, weed and plant removal, tree maintenance and bulk waste collection and disposal.

Teams are now in-place and mobilised to look after approximately 87 sites, covering Bristol, Wiltshire, Bath and North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Mendip, Swindon and Sedgemoor Local Authority areas.

Established in 1890 by Sir Edward Cecil Guinness, the great grandson of the founder of the Guinness Brewery, the Guinness Partnership provides social and affordable housing including affordable rent, affordable home ownership, housing for older people and a range of extra care schemes.

Laura Branthwaite, National Estates Contract Manager, Guinness Partnership said: “We are delighted that Tivoli have been awarded the contract to oversee the grounds maintenance services for our properties across the South West.

“We look forward to working with them to ensure the grounds are maintained to the highest standard, so that our customers can live in pleasant surroundings and be able to enjoy the green space.”
