The British Institute of Facilities Management has announced the finalists for the prestigious BIFM Awards 2011. Taking place at London’s Grosvenor House hotel on the evening of Monday 10th October, the awards, whose headline sponsor this year is Mace, are the biggest and most influential networking event in the UK’s FM calendar, and give national recognition to the leaders in our profession.
The BIFM Awards are designed to celebrate the increasingly strategic profile of FM by highlighting the key role it plays in the success of public and private sector organisations. Last year saw Julie Kortens, head of FM at Channel 4, crowned FM of the Year at a glittering ceremony hosted by television presenter Myleene Klass.
