DMA GROUP STRENGTHENS COMMERCIAL TEAM WITH NEW APPOINTMENTS

Property maintenance specialist DMA Group has made two key appointments to strengthen its commercial team.

Rob Ware has been promoted to the newly created role of Head of Commercial by the leading property services partner, with Kris Fowell succeeding him as Head of Account Management.

In his new position Rob will lead on customer and supply chain contracts, ensuring DMA Group balances the delivery of high-quality services to customers while maintaining robust control of contract terms, risk and commercial performance.

With a heritage spanning more than 200 years, DMA Group delivers fully integrated hard facilities management, mechanical and electrical maintenance and energy sustainability solutions for a range of private and public sector customers across the UK.

Rob has worked for DMA Group since 2012, having previously engaged with the company as an air conditioning engineer contractor. Since joining he has held a series of project management and commercial roles, most recently as Head of Account Management.

Rob said: “Having worked within the organisation for an extended period I have the benefit of understanding the high standards set by our sales and operations teams, which will allow me to provide a link for serving new and valued existing customers.

“I like to be hands on when working with customers, many of whom I have known for more than a decade. I am proud to have been part of the evolution and growth of DMA Group for nearly 15 years and believe that over the coming years we can be even more successful.”

Kris has been promoted to his new role having joined DMA Group in March 2025 as a customer account manager. He started his career more than 20 years ago by working as an electrician, before progressing to managerial roles in electrical services and facilities management.

Kris said: “I am pleased to take on this new role at a time when DMA Group is entering a rapid growth stage, with a range of opportunities ahead of us to grow including developing new relationships in sectors such as education.

“With the focus of the new appointments, we can build on the reputation of DMA Group as a true partner for customers rather than simply being seen as a service provider.”

Wendy Bennett, DMA Group Managing Director, congratulated the colleagues on their promotions. She said: “We are pleased to appoint Rob and Kris to their new roles following strong recruitment processes which included internal and external candidates.

“We created the Head of Commercial position after identifying an opportunity to create a new role to oversee our work for customers while ensuring our contract governance is met.

“DMA Group is keen to develop the talent we have within the business, so it is pleasing to support two colleagues to continue their career pathways.”

With its head office in Rochester, Kent, DMA Group has recently won notable contracts including the hard facilities management accounts for Thurrock Council and the London Borough of Sutton.

Key to winning and retaining contracts like these is DMA’s award-winning BiO® service management platform, which gives customers complete visibility of asset condition, compliance status and performance, with automated calls-to-action that remove manual intervention, saving time and cost.

All performance data is available to everyone, anywhere, anytime, on any device and at no extra cost, offering a level of transparency rarely seen in the sector.
