TERRACYCLE LAUNCHES NEW DRY MIX RECYCLABLES - ZERO WASTE BOX

TERRACYCLE LAUNCHES NEW DRY MIX RECYCLABLES - ZERO WASTE BOX

TerraCycle®, a specialist in innovative recycling solutions, has launched a Dry Mix Recyclables - Zero Waste Box™ , a simple, all-in-one solution to help smaller and micro businesses in the UK recycle dry mixed materials responsibly, affordably and in line with UK Simpler Recycling Regulations.

From March 2025, all UK businesses with more than 10 employees have been legally required to separate dry recyclable waste (such as paper, cardboard, plastic and metal cans) from food waste and general waste. From March 2027, this will expand to all businesses in England (no matter their size).

TerraCycle’s new Dry Mix Recyclables - Zero Waste Box accepts the following waste which can all be collected / sent in together to TerraCycle to be recycled: paper and envelopes; cardboard; drink cans and food tins; plastic bottles, tubs and trays; clear plastic wrap; glass bottles and rinsed glass jars. The company says there is no need to sort the waste as they will do it for you.

It also includes: Free delivery and prepaid return shipping; a digital toolkit with clear signage and staff posters; a guarantee that TerraCycle will recycle all compliant accepted waste sent in.

The Dry Mix Recyclables - Zero Waste Box is available in one of three sizes, small, medium and large, with prices ranging from £63 (including VAT) for a small box to £119 (including VAT) for a large box. The price of each box includes the cost of TerraCycle sending it to the customer, the prepaid shipping label which the customer then uses to send their full box back to TerraCycle, and the cost of sorting and recycling the waste.

Julien Tremblin, General Manager of TerraCycle Europe, commented: “Whilst smaller and micro businesses undoubtedly want to comply with the new Simpler Recycling Regulations and do the right thing for the planet, they may lack the time, space or resources to set up a full recycling contract. In response to this, TerraCycle is launching the Dry Mix Recyclables - Zero Waste Box, which makes it easy for small and micro businesses to start sorting their waste now without the need for contracts, bin hire, or collection schedules. This is a simple, all-in-one and cost-effective solution to enable small and micro businesses to comply with the new regulations.”

How it works

Order – Small and micro businesses can order the Dry Mix Recyclables - Zero Waste Box here, which is shipped directly to their location of choice.
