Clean sweep for ARAMARK

Facilities management specialist ARAMARK has retained and grown a ‘Multi Activity Contract’ with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) in Scotland, following a competitive tender process. The company has added Kinloss Barracks and the Universities of Glasgow and Strathclyde Air Squadron to its work at RAF Lossiemouth and RAF Leuchars.  Across the four sites it will provide a range of soft facilities management services for military personnel including cleaning, laundry, tailoring and pest control.

Commencing in October 2012, the three-year contract is valued at approximately £3.7million.  The news comes after ARAMARK retained its Mid-Hants ‘Super Multi Activity Contract’ in England earlier this year.

Stewart McCulloch, Business Development Director - Defence, ARAMARK, said:  “We have a breadth of experience on defence sites.  This new contract reinforces our expertise in efficiently meeting the day-to-day living needs of military personnel, working as their trusted partner.”

ARAMARK, which specialises in facilities management and food services, has offices across the UK with its Scottish headquarters in Dyce, near Aberdeen.
