ARTIC SECURES BMA DEAL

Artic has been awarded a hard FM contract with the British Medical Association at its Grade II listed HQ building, in Tavistock Square, London. The BMA is the non-governmental professional body for doctors and allied medical professionals in the UK.

The five-year contract was awarded through a competitive tender process conducted by the BMA and their facilities management consultant. Artic proposed the delivery of M&E services providing maintenance to SFG20 guidelines and frequencies supplemented with other important items of specialist compliance maintenance provided by a group of specialist partner companies. Artic will provide three residential engineers to cover all PPM and reactive works managed and guided by a site dedicated contract management and administration team.

During the tender process it focussed on how Artic can support BMA to deliver a more sustainable future, aiming to work in partnership with the organisation on energy saving initiatives in line with their energy management and environmental impact reduction strategies.

Ian Wade, Head of UK Estates for the British Medical Association, said: “We welcome the change in service provider to Artic Building Services. We are looking forward to working with them in improving the service provision to our Estate and supporting in our energy and sustainability plans over the coming years.”
