Compass Instore business seals The Range
Compass Group UK & Ireland’s Instore business has successfully extended its contract with retailer, The Range. The new three-year £60million deal will see a 430-strong foodservice team deliver food and beverage services across 68 coffee shops located nationally throughout The Range stores.

Instore’s initial contract with The Range started in 2005 and saw Instore manage the coffee shops across 25 stores. This number has grown rapidly over the last nine years; over two million customers now visit the 68 The Range coffee shops every year and with even more stores and coffee shops in the pipeline, this number is set to grow further.

In line with The Range’s expansion plans, Compass will be investing in the coffee shop facilities, modernising a number of coffee shops, in particularly those that were opened at the time of the original contract. This modernisation will also see Compass and The Range roll-out a fresh new look and feel with a new branded coffee shop; Dee, Dee’s. Alongside the existing food and beverages offered at The Range, a new pizza format will also be introduced in selected stores allowing customers to enjoy, fresh stone-baked pizzas during a busy day’s shopping.
