Arthur McKay wins Croydon Council Hard FM Services contract

Arthur McKay, the building support services company, has announced its contract win with Croydon Council.

The five-year hard services contract, with an optional two year extension, covers a portfolio of around 250 properties including council offices, Croydon library, leisure facilities, civic amenities, community centres and parks/recreation areas.

Arthur McKay continues its expansion in the South of England with this significant strategic business win, which will result in it establishing a new base within Croydon.
Mark Norrell, Head of Facilities Management Croydon Council commented: “The council is pleased to announce the appointment of Arthur McKay to provide all mechanical and electrical services within our corporate estate. Having an experienced M&E partner, with their commitment to help us achieve our objectives, will make a positive contribution to the effective running of our estate.”

Mike Floyd, Executive Director FM at Arthur McKay commented: “We are delighted to win this contract where we will employ and develop local people, build a local supply chain and continuously review our service delivery for improvements, passing on any related savings. We have made significant commitments to Croydon Council to support them in achieving their stated aims set out in Value Croydon and the Croydon Challenge. We look forward to delivering on these promises and building a formidable partnership that will take us way beyond the contract term.”
