Servest named one of the top ethical companies

After an intense twelve months of focusing on ethical strategies, Servest has proved its commitment to, and understanding of, the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) code of ethics.

The CIPS ethical registration is awarded to organisations that demonstrate its commitment to reinforcing ethical values across all procurement and supply practices. The code is founded on four pillars: accountability, ethical practice, professionalism and understanding and commitment.

Servest is included on the CIPS Corporate Ethical Register, along with only 16 other companies chosen this year; it is the only FM provider from a recent publications top 50 list on the register. This fantastic achievement sets Servest apart from the competition and highlights the company’s dedication to corporate social responsibility.

Jon Stevens, Group Head of Commercial at Servest, said: “It’s great to see that the team’s dedication to ethical practice has been recognised and celebrated. The procurement team have all worked so hard to make this wonderful achievement possible. Going forward, we will continue to ensure that our practices stay in line with the code guidelines.”

Servest has taken proactive steps throughout the past year to ensure that the entire procurement team have been trained in ethical sourcing supply management. As part of the procurement and supply strategy for 2017, Servest is in the process of implementing a code of ethics that promotes sustainability and responsibility to continue the excellent work that this achievement has recognised.
