RENSAIR TO HOST WEBINAR ON MEETING NEW INDOOR AIR REGULATION

RENSAIR TO HOST WEBINAR ON MEETING NEW INDOOR AIR REGULATION

Indoor air quality expert Rensair is to host a webinar on 29th September that discusses a win-win approach to improving workplace respiratory health and reducing associated energy consumption.

Worsening air pollution, combined with the global pandemic, is driving new government regulation to substantially improve indoor air quality. However, while ventilation is key to protecting respiratory health, it also demands more energy. A typical HVAC system can already account for half a building’s total energy consumption, as fresh air intake needs heating in winter and cooling in summer.

Stricter legislative standards will require far higher levels of ventilation, such that spiralling energy costs may pose a real threat to the bottom line.

The complimentary webinar shares a smarter solution to HVAC that balances mechanical ventilation with air purification, pointing to some startling results:

1. A 40% reduction in energy consumption with an immediate payback.

2. A solution that will meet any forthcoming regulation on indoor air quality.

3. An environment that promotes productivity and prevents absenteeism.

4. A lower carbon footprint that contributes to net zero sustainability goals.

Hosted by Christian and Frederik Hendriksen, co-founders of Rensair, the main speakers will be Rensair’s technical experts: Matthew Johnson, Professor of Atmospheric Chemistry at the University of Copenhagen, who is Chief Scientific Advisor at Rensair, and Siamak Ardkapan, Head of Airflow Engineering at Rensair, who has extensive experience in the field of air cleaning and ventilation.

Webinar discussion topics will include:

  • The changing regulatory landscape, which is calling for a radical reform of ventilation and infection resilience across all buildings.
  • How to offset mechanical ventilation with air purification, slashing energy consumption while maintaining or improving good indoor air quality.
  • Calculations that demonstrate energy and monetary savings in commercial buildings through air purification / ventilation optimization strategies.
