In Depth Managed Services, provider of a wide range of cleaning and facilities management services across the UK, has appointed Gary Johns as Sales Director Designate.
Gary, formerly Head of the Windows and Industrial division, will return to his true passion of sales, after working in operational roles within the company for eight years. He joined IDG Holdings, the group holding company in 2000 as Sales and Marketing Manager and moved into operational roles to learn more about the overall business in 2003.
“I believe now is the right time to take the step back into sales because I have an excellent understanding of every aspect of the business, which will help me improve internal and external processes and focus on how best to represent the business to the outside world,” said Gary.
In his new position, Gary’s responsibilities will include heading up the national sales division for cleaning, window cleaning, industrial cleaning and soft services. He will be responsible for improving business development and growth.

In his previous position as Head of Windows and Industrial division, Gary boosted the division with the introduction of new water-fed pole technology, improving the profitability of the division, along with a steady growth of sales. He also introduced an electronic PDA signature system to capture client satisfaction signatures, health and safety and equipment compliance.
