WHA REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO HIGH STANDARDS IN THE WATER DISPENSER INDUSTRY

The Water Dispenser & Hydration Association (WHA) has reaffirmed its commitment to high standards of hygiene, safety and service across the UK water dispenser industry.

As part of WHA’s continuous standards programme, WHA membership is only maintained by organisations that meet the association’s defined strict Codes of Practice and best conduct.  These standards ensure that consumers and businesses can have complete confidence in the consistency and quality of WHA-Member suppliers.

The Association advises that Culligan has resigned its WHA membership.

WHA membership is a clear mark of assurance: members are audited under the WHA programme and required to meet defined standards designed to protect customers and end users. For bottling plants, these audits are conducted by independent third parties; for distributors, audits are carried out by WHA-appointed auditors under a defined methodology.

“The WHA is committed to safeguarding standards for the benefit of customers, end users and the wider industry,” said Matt Stimpson, WHA Chairman. “Our responsibility is to ensure that WHA members consistently meet these standards, giving customers complete confidence in the quality and safety of their service.”

WHA encourages procurement teams, facilities managers and end users to always check their supplier is a WHA member to ensure confidence and compliance.
