Penguin Facilities Management has appointed Paul Gisby as Managing Director for London & The South, heading up the company’s southern division from its new central London office.

Gisby joins the Leeds-based provider in this senior strategic role, bringing with him over 30 years’ experience within the FM and construction sectors.

He also plays an active role within the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), having previously acted as vice-chair of the CIBSE FM Group.

Penguin FM founders Rohin Dhand and Edward Wick are “excited” to welcome him on board, Wick said: “Paul’s appointment is a significant move for Penguin and will further strengthen our position in the South of England, allowing us to better serve our southern based clients. He brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and experience which our team members and the company as a whole will really benefit from.”

Dhand added: “Paul joins us at a crucial time for London companies looking to emerge from the pandemic and we are absolutely committed to helping clients save on their bottom line and innovating further across our FM services. Paul will be crucial in leading our team in the South and achieving this for us.”

Speaking about his appointment, Gisby said: “Penguin FM is a dynamic and fast-growing service provider with a young and ambitious team. They’re dedicated to achieving sustainable growth and delivering the best for clients, so our values properly align.
